This result was obtained from a voter consultation meeting held at her workplace to nominate Ms. Le Thuy My Chau, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026-2031.
Ms. Le Thuy My Chau was born in 1980 in Dong Thanh commune, Ho Chi Minh City.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Education, a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy; a Master's degree in Educational Management, a Master's degree in Business Administration; and an Advanced Certificate in Political Theory.
Ms. Chau has worked in the education sector since 2001, initially as a teacher at Nguyen An Khuong Secondary School (formerly Hoc Mon District). Later, she served as the school's Deputy Principal.
Prior to her appointment as Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training in mid-2023, Ms. Chau held various positions including Deputy Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Hoc Mon District, Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Hoc Mon District, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Xuan Commune, Chief of the Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of Hoc Mon District, and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoc Mon District.
In her role as Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, Ms. Le Thuy My Chau is responsible for assisting the Director of the Department in directing the implementation of various areas related to preschool education; foreign affairs and international relations in education; and the development of high-quality school models, specifically "Advanced Schools, Internationally Integrated," in preschool education.
In parallel, she is also responsible for assisting the director in coordinating with departments, agencies, and local People's Committees to implement the city's education management work; reviewing, monitoring, and urging the progress of implementing contents related to the establishment of schools, foreign language and computer centers, life skills centers, and study abroad consulting services.
Ms. Chau was assigned to oversee two major education programs in Ho Chi Minh City: the Preschool Education Universalization Program and the English Language Introduction Program for preschool children.
