The multimedia exhibition “Nu Thoi” has officially closed after 10 days (from November 28 to December 7), attracting more than 1,500 visitors from many different groups.
With the spirit of honoring the beauty, role and value of Vietnamese women through historical periods through the language of fine arts and technology, the exhibition has become a prominent cultural highlight at the end of the year.
At Toong IPH (Xuan Thuy, Hanoi ), the exhibition space of “Nu Thoi” brought many deep impressions to the art-loving public. The exhibition is not only a simple cultural event, but also a testament to the strong creativity and ability to apply technology in art of the young generation.
What is special is that the project "Nu Thoi" is the result of the dedication of a group of students majoring in Multimedia Communications -FPT University Hanoi.
Although not coming from a background in traditional painting or fine arts, the exhibition team has chosen a creative, emotional approach, combining multimedia technology to tell the story of Vietnamese women through familiar yet new slices.
“Nu Thoi” was formed from the desire to explore , appreciate and honor the bravery, beauty, sacrifice and enduring role of Vietnamese women in social life.
Representative of the Organizing Committee, Vu Yen Nhi, shared: "Nu Thoi" was created with the desire to pay tribute and honor the beauty of Vietnamese women through the flow of time, where the image of women is viewed from many modern and humane perspectives.
“We hope the exhibition not only brings aesthetic experiences but also conveys many positive values to the community, contributing to spreading beautiful stories about women through the language of art,” Nhi said.
Contributing to the soul of the exhibition are works from young artists. Among them, artist Hoi Tran, author of two works “The girl picking mulberry” and “The sound of birds in the heart of the city” , shared his appreciation for the project: “This is an exhibition that I truly appreciate for the open educational thinking that the industry, the school and especially the students themselves dare to take steps, commit and experience. It is a testament to a young generation that is dynamic, civilized and continues tradition with the present - where ‘flowers will surely bear sweet fruit’!”
The above sharing further emphasizes the spirit of connection between traditional values and contemporary breath - one of the core messages of "Nu Thoi".

The exhibition also received many positive responses from viewers. Le Duc Thanh, a young audience member, said he was particularly impressed with the work “The girl picking mulberry” - a series of paintings depicting the image of Nguyen Phi Y Lan, a talented and influential woman under the Ly Dynasty.
“Based on historical and cultural materials, the series of paintings helps me better understand the political, social and educational roles of women in feudal times. This is a perspective that is both familiar and new, very worth pondering,” Thanh shared.

Closing the exhibition space is the work “Ru” - a video art inspired by real memories of childhood lullabies. The simplicity, intimacy and emotional depth make many older viewers stop for a long time, even tear up when recalling their childhood.
“ Ru” becomes a lingering highlight, closing the journey of “Nu Thoi” with warmth and full of humanity.

With more than 1,500 visitors and many positive feedbacks, “Nu Thoi” has proven the strong vitality of a young art project: rich in education, rich in emotions and rich in cultural values.
Not only honoring the beauty and contributions of Vietnamese women, the exhibition also affirms their central role in today's social life - the right to live beautifully, to be happy and to be in control of one's own life./.
