Mount Ba Den is ablaze with tulip blossoms ahead of the 2026 Spring Festival.

Tay Ninh - In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year, the tourist area on the summit of Ba Den Mountain is urgently completing preparations for the 2026 Spring Festival.

The opening ceremony of the Spring Festival, themed "The Flavors and Colors of Tay Ninh 2026," is scheduled to take place at 6 PM on February 20th in the square opposite the cable car station. The program will include artistic performances and a fireworks display for the enjoyment of locals and tourists.

To prepare for the Spring Festival, thousands of tulip plants have been planted and cared for to create a scenic highlight for tourists visiting the area at an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters above sea level. The imported and acclimatized varieties are suitable for the climate conditions on the mountaintop, ensuring that they bloom for an extended period throughout the festival season.

Besides tulips, many other flower species such as yellow apricot blossoms, roses, peonies, begonias, chrysanthemums, and hydrangeas are also arranged into miniature landscapes along the mountain slopes. Regular maintenance, combined with a sprinkler irrigation system, is carried out to maintain the quality of the vegetation under the unique weather conditions of the high mountain region.

In addition to the floral landscape, the mountaintop area is also decorated with many miniature scenes reflecting the traditional Tet atmosphere, such as lanterns, calligraphy, and lion and dragon dance models, creating a cultural experience for visitors during the New Year.

Within the framework of this year's Spring Festival, characteristic local folk art forms such as Chhay Dam drum dance, Khmer dance, five-tone music, golden tray dance, etc., will be performed throughout the Tet holiday, contributing to promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of Tay Ninh.

During this time, pilgrims visiting Ba Den Mountain can also explore cultural and spiritual sites such as the statue of the Goddess of Mercy, the statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva, and the statue of the Buddha Kṣaṇa Hāmāṇi at the Uṇa Lake area. The spring festival will attract a large number of locals and tourists in the early days of the new year.
