Reporters observed a bustling work atmosphere throughout the construction site from early morning. Nguyen Trong Khang, a worker on the project, said that during these peak months, the company operates in three shifts, four teams continuously, to meet the set deadlines.
“The team has been working almost around the clock, rotating shifts constantly. Despite the hardship, everyone understands this is a key project, so they are trying their best. We encourage each other to maintain safety, ensure the quality of each item, and are determined to complete it on schedule as committed, so that the road can be opened to traffic soon and reduce traffic pressure in the area,” Khang added.

According to transportation experts, this is one of the largest and most technically complex components of the Ring Road 3 project. The Tan Van interchange is designed with three levels, including five overpass branches and a system of parallel roads. Furthermore, this interchange is a crucial connection point between Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Dong Nai, serving as a strategic "gateway" for the entire route. To date, the shape of this modern interchange is gradually becoming clearer on the construction site spanning tens of hectares.

At the construction site, many important items have progressed well. A series of large-scale bridge piers and girders have been completed; sturdy reinforced concrete structures are being continuously constructed simultaneously. Construction teams are organized scientifically , working in parallel on many segments from the viaduct and approach roads to the roadbed. Currently, more than 200 workers and engineers, along with about 140 specialized machines and equipment, are working continuously each day, creating a rapid and systematic construction pace.

In the context of the construction industry facing numerous challenges such as fluctuating material prices, unstable supply, and unpredictable weather, project management and contractors have proactively implemented many flexible solutions. Adjusting construction plans according to weather conditions, optimizing materials, and strengthening coordination among relevant units have helped the construction site maintain stable progress and minimize unforeseen issues.

According to reports from the contractors, the Tan Van interchange construction package has reached approximately 45% completion. The contractors are committed to opening the elevated section of the main route for technical traffic on April 30, 2026, creating an important foundation for the entire project to be completed and put into operation soon, contributing to the completion of the inter-regional transport network and promoting socio-economic development in the Southeast region.
