According to the head of the Department of Construction, the department has recently received feedback from voters regarding the frequent traffic congestion on Tran Phu Street (Nha Trang Ward) on the lane designated for cars, causing difficulties in traffic flow. On February 11th, the Department of Construction chaired a meeting inviting relevant parties, including the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police), the People's Committee of Nha Trang Ward, and Khanh Hoa Traffic Management and Construction Joint Stock Company (the contractor managing and maintaining provincial roads), to inspect the traffic congestion situation on Tran Phu Street.

Field inspection results show that Tran Phu Street, managed by the Department of Construction, is over 7km long, starting from Thap Ba Street and ending at the Nha Trang Port Border Guard Post. The road is divided into two lanes for traffic in opposite directions (with a median). Each lane is organized as follows: the lane closest to the median is for cars, and the other lane is for motorcycles and bicycles. Currently, Tran Phu Street experiences a high volume of traffic, especially cars, leading to congestion in the car lanes and causing difficulties for residents and vehicles. Furthermore, traffic lights at some intersections are not properly organized. Long waiting times at red lights, combined with high car traffic volume, result in significant congestion on Tran Phu Street. Therefore, traffic flow on this route needs to be reorganized.
Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, stated that based on the results of the on-site inspection, the inspection team agreed to reorganize traffic on the route. The existing lanes for cars will remain unchanged; the lanes for motorcycles and bicycles will be shared by passenger cars. Other sections of the route will maintain their current traffic organization. The Department of Construction also recommended that the Provincial People's Committee assign the Nha Trang Ward People's Committee to coordinate with the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) to study and adjust the traffic light system at the intersection to better suit the actual situation.
