Mr. Bui Quang Dung has a Master of Business Administration (Southern Columbia University, USA), with more than 15 years of experience in real estate investment and business.

Before taking on the position of Chairman, Mr. Dung held leadership positions at Colliers International , BIM Group , Empire Group and is currently Deputy General Director of FLC Group , Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Permanent Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways .

According to Bamboo Airways, Mr. Dung - FLC representative - holding the position of Chairman is expected to strengthen the connection between the two sides, while ensuring synchronization in restructuring strategy and long-term development orientation.

On the same day, the Board of Directors also passed a resolution to dismiss Mr. Le Thai Sam from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Sam will continue to accompany the company as a member of the Board of Directors.

Currently, Bamboo Airways' board of directors consists of 6 members: Mr. Bui Quang Dung, Mr. Le Thai Sam, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong, Mr. Le Ba Nguyen, Mr. Truong Phuong Thanh and Ms. Phung Thi Thu Thao .

The change in senior personnel at Bamboo Airways took place in the context of the airline officially returning under the direct management of FLC Group, according to the proposal of the group of former investors representing Mr. Duong Cong Minh.

As the founding investor and leader of Bamboo Airways during its strong growth period, immediately after taking over management, FLC quickly built a development plan for the 2026-2030 period with a focus on restructuring the operating system , expanding the fleet size and consolidating the flight network .

In the immediate future, Bamboo Airways is urgently completing preparations to receive one more aircraft to serve the peak season at the end of the year. At the same time, Bamboo Airways plans to continue adding aircraft to increase the size of its fleet right before the Lunar New Year 2026.

Along with that, Bamboo Airways is implementing large-scale flight attendant recruitment , serving the goal of growth and improving service quality.

At the recent shareholders' meeting, Ms. Bui Hai Huyen - General Director of FLC - said that FLC's policy of agreeing to take back ownership, management and operation of Bamboo Airways was made on the basis of extremely careful and comprehensive consideration, and the procedures complied with legal regulations.

FLC CEO emphasized that the group is well aware that taking over the airline in the context of FLC's comprehensive restructuring is not an easy decision.

However, this policy is built on three main principles: Not to interrupt or affect FLC's restructuring process.

The takeover, operation and redevelopment of Bamboo Airways must be implemented in accordance with the current financial and human resources capacity. It must be strictly controlled to ensure safety and sustainability for FLC.

Towards a smart aviation ecosystem

In the coming period, Bamboo Airways and FLC aim to develop a smart aviation ecosystem , combining the fields of flight services, logistics, technical maintenance, human resource training and airline catering , while linking with FLC's tourism - resort - golf chain .

At key airports such as Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Long Thanh, Phu Cat , the airline will develop modern ancillary service centers , aiming at international standards and promoting growth for the entire FLC ecosystem.
