Mr. Le Hong Vinh was elected Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province.

On the afternoon of November 17, the People's Council of Quang Tri province, term VIII, 2021-2026, held the 4th session (Special session on personnel work).

At the meeting, 100% of the delegates of the People's Council of Quang Tri province unanimously approved the Resolution to dismiss Mr. Tran Phong from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee due to job transfer.

Next, with 76/76 delegates present voting in favor (100%), the People's Council of Quang Tri province passed the Resolution to elect Mr. Le Hong Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, term 2021-2026.

Also at the meeting, 100% of the delegates present approved and passed the Resolution to elect Mr. Le Van Bao, Chief of Office of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Previously, the Secretariat decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Hong Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Le Hong Vinh (born in 1974), from Do Luong commune, Nghe An province, has a Master's degree in Science and Technology Management.

During his working career, Mr. Vinh held many positions in Nghe An province, such as Deputy Director of the Department of Transport, Secretary of Anh Son District Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Mr. Le Van Bao (born in 1969), from Le Thuy commune, Quang Tri province, professional qualifications: Master of Political Economy, agricultural engineer.

Mr. Bao used to hold positions in the old Quang Binh province, such as Chairman of the People's Committee of Le Thuy district, Secretary of the Le Thuy District Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission. When Quang Tri and Quang Binh merged, Mr. Bao held the position of Chief of Office of the new Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.
