On the morning of March 17, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai, as Head of the working delegation, worked with the Lam Dong Provincial Party Executive Committee; announced the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.

Also attending were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac and leaders of the Party Central Committee's Internal Affairs Commission, the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission , the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission, the Party Central Committee's Office; the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee of Lam Dong province, Secretaries of District Party Committees, and Party Committees of Central units located in the area.

At the Conference, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Mai Van Chinh announced Decision No. 1156-QDNS/TW dated March 15, 2024 of the Politburo.

Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc ceased to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On behalf of the Politburo, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai presented the Decision and congratulated comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc on his new responsibility. The Standing member of the Secretariat assessed that Lam Dong is a mountainous province in the Central Highlands, with a large population of ethnic minorities. The Party and people of Lam Dong have made many efforts to rise up, achieving many positive results in socio-economic development, ensuring national security and defense, building the Party and the political system.

However, the province still has a number of issues that need attention and focused direction. These include developing infrastructure, especially in rural areas and ethnic minority areas in sync with socio-economic development; achieving the goal of social progress and equity, reducing the gap between rich and poor, etc.

Recently, a number of key leaders of Lam Dong have seriously violated Party discipline and State laws. This incident not only requires individuals to take responsibility but also negatively affects the image of the Party Committee. This is a profound lesson for the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee as well as all Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members in the province.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Truong Thi Mai congratulated the Acting Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and expressed her belief that after taking on the new responsibility, she will quickly join the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to overcome difficulties, unite, strive, strengthen leadership and direction to achieve the highest results in implementing the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress in conjunction with the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution 23-NQ/TU of the Politburo on the direction of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Central Highlands region until 2030, with a vision to 2045; achieve the goal of becoming a fairly comprehensively developed province of the country by 2030, and Lam Dong becoming a centrally-run city by 2045.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc respectfully thanked the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for their trust and assignment of new responsibilities and tasks. He determined to strive, train, and maintain himself well, unite and be loyal to his comrades and brothers, live and work to the best of his ability according to what is right and just, stay away from wrong and bad things to build and develop the socio-economy with the cadres, soldiers, and people here.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, born in 1972, hometown in Hoa Quang Bac commune, Phu Hoa district, Phu Yen province; received basic training, has professional qualifications of Doctor of Political Science; Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Politics.

He has held many positions: In 2002, he was Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union; in July 2006, the Standing Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee transferred and appointed him to hold the position of Secretary of Song Hinh District Party Committee. In June 2011, he was a member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Phu Yen Province.

In July 2013, the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointed him to the position of Head of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee. In January 2015, he was a member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

On June 5, 2018, the Secretariat assigned Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, National Assembly delegate of the 13th and 14th terms.../.
