At the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Hong Tham announced the decision of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to appoint Mr. Nguyen Tran Binh, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, acting Chairman of the District 11 People's Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the District 11 People's Committee. The term of appointment is 5 years.
Mr. Nguyen Tran Binh, 42 years old, hometown Can Tho. Degree: Master of Economics - Politics , Senior in Political Theory.
Previously, Mr. Binh held the positions of Acting Chairman of District 11 People's Committee and Vice Chairman of District 11 People's Committee.
Speaking at the assignment, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Vo Van Hoan acknowledged that Mr. Nguyen Tran Binh grew up in District 11, is a senior official, has a good grasp of the area, has held many positions, and is trusted by officials and people.
“We need to have new thinking, thinking and actions to develop the district, suggesting the need to develop a quality economy by improving the quality of the district’s service and economic sectors. From there, we can orient criteria for people to do business and produce with quality,” said Mr. Vo Van Hoan.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the new Chairman of District 11 People's Committee thanked the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City for their attention, support, and trust in assigning him new responsibilities and tasks.
According to Mr. Binh, District 11 is currently making efforts to accelerate implementation to achieve the best results for the goals, targets and tasks set by the District Party Congress.
Mr. Binh promised to continuously study, practice, improve his political qualities, practice ethics and lifestyle, listen and learn from the experiences of previous leaders, and perform his duties well and correctly.
