On the afternoon of February 7th, Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee , delivered a presentation on "Innovating inspection and supervision work to contribute to strengthening discipline and order to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation in accordance with the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress."

There should be no gaps or dark areas that inspection and monitoring cannot reach.

Mr. Tran Sy Thanh emphasized that inspection and supervision work must be conducted proactively, promptly, comprehensively, synchronously, openly, democratically, objectively, impartially, cautiously, strictly, accurately, and rigorously in accordance with the principles, procedures, authority, and methods of the Party's inspection work.

We must drastically innovate our thinking, methods, and approaches to inspection and supervision, especially by elevating the supervision mechanism within the Party; and link inspection and supervision work with other methods of controlling power.

"Implement a synchronized approach between inspection and supervision, following the principle: Supervision must be broad, while inspection must be focused and targeted."

"We are shifting our focus to regular monitoring to proactively prevent violations early and from afar, stopping them from the very beginning, and preventing small violations from accumulating into large ones," Mr. Tran Sy Thanh stated.

Furthermore, it is necessary to recognize and emphasize the role of inspection and supervision, considering it as one of the methods of action to ensure that the Party's resolutions and directives are implemented seriously and promptly, and to contribute to promoting socio -economic development.

Promote comprehensive digital transformation in inspection activities, gradually shifting to data-driven inspection and supervision.

"We have done very well in this area during the review of the implementation of Resolution 18 - the organization of local government at two levels," Mr. Tran Sy Thanh informed.

Another point he raised was improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency, and creating new advancements in the inspection and supervision work of Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection committees at all levels.

To comprehensively and effectively implement the tasks stipulated in the Party Charter and those assigned by the Party committee, "leaving no gaps or dark areas that inspection and supervision work cannot reach."

Simultaneously, there must be close, synchronized, and harmonious coordination between the Party's inspection and supervision agencies and the agencies responsible for inspection, auditing, investigation, prosecution, adjudication, and social supervision.

Regarding the tasks and methods of implementing inspection and supervision work by Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection committees at all levels, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh emphasized several points.

He informed that immediately after the 14th National Congress concluded, the Politburo and the Secretariat directed the Central Inspection Committee to focus on advising and submitting to the Politburo and the Secretariat the program for inspection and supervision for the entire term and for 2026.

He stated that in March alone, 22 delegations would be established, each led by a member of the Politburo and the Secretariat, to inspect 40 subordinate Party organizations.

He emphasized that this was the first time decisions had been made so quickly regarding the timeline, content, and composition. The delegations will essentially remain stable throughout the term to monitor the implementation of the resolution in localities and subordinate Party organizations.

"A very new development is that the General Secretary is directly leading an inspection team. Therefore, I propose that Party committee secretaries at all levels should also directly lead, guide, and organize the implementation of inspection and supervision work in their respective localities," Mr. Tran Sy Thanh suggested.

He added that the Central Inspection Commission has developed a work program and action plan for the entire sector to implement the resolutions of the 14th Party Congress.

Therefore, it is recommended that Party committees and inspection committees at all levels proactively and decisively implement supervision work right from the start.
