The achievements not only create a solid foundation for socio -economic development but also strengthen the people's confidence in the leadership of the local Party committee and government, enabling Dong Xuan to confidently enter 2026.
In 2025, amidst the restructuring of the local government into a two-tiered model and facing numerous impacts from natural disasters and floods, with the focused and unified leadership of the Party Committee and the government, along with the consensus of the people, Dong Xuan commune strived to overcome difficulties and comprehensively fulfill all assigned tasks. All 15 key targets were met or exceeded; the total value of products in the area reached over 1,393 billion VND; budget revenue exceeded the forecast by 108%; average per capita income reached 52 million VND/year, and the material and spiritual lives of the people continued to improve.

Agricultural and forestry production remained stable. Total food production reached 9,800 tons. Livestock farming developed safely, and diseases were effectively controlled. Forest cover reached 47.29%, contributing to the protection of the ecological environment. The New Rural Development Program was implemented synchronously; the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program spread with 7 products achieving 3-star standards, gradually increasing product value and income for the people. Industrial, handicraft, trade, and service activities continued to maintain growth momentum. The Dong Xuan Sugar Factory and the Cassava Starch Factory operated effectively, creating jobs and consuming agricultural products. Various forms of product promotion and e-commerce applications gradually yielded practical results.
Along with economic development, the socio-cultural sector has received comprehensive attention. Education and training, and basic healthcare continue to be strengthened. The rate of people participating in health insurance reached 96%. Social security policies were implemented promptly and targeted correctly. The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses was completed with 143 houses, contributing to helping many poor and near-poor households stabilize their lives.
The "National Unity for Building a Culturally Rich Life" movement has developed extensively, with 98.4% of households achieving the title of "Culturally Rich Family" and 100% of villages meeting the standards of "Culturally Rich Village". National defense and security have been maintained, the commune has completed 100% of its military recruitment quota, and social order and safety are stable, creating a safe and healthy environment for people to work, produce, and enjoy the Spring Festival and Tet holiday with peace of mind.
