Truck hit three motorbikes stopped at red light

Binh Duong While waiting at a red light, three motorbikes were hit from behind by a truck, killing one person and injuring two others, on the evening of May 30.

At nearly 7 p.m., a line of cars was waiting at a red light on Thuan An Hoa Street intersecting with My Phuoc - Tan Van Street, in Thuan Giao Ward, when a truck with a Binh Duong license plate from behind crashed into them.

Three motorbikes were run over by a car, one person died on the spot. Two injured people were taken to the emergency room. Many seafood stalls spilled out onto the street. "I was sitting in my house and heard a loud bang. I ran out and heard screams and 2-3 people lying in the middle of the street," said a female witness.

The accident caused local congestion on My Phuoc - Tan Van road. Police blocked off the scene to investigate the accident.
