Festival of Kindness
On the morning of December 9, Lam Dong Power Company said that EVN Pink Week has become a special humanitarian mark of Vietnam Electricity Group over the past ten years. This is a charitable activity that has a strong influence across the country.
In Lam Dong, the red color of the spirit of sharing continues to spread when officers and employees of Lam Dong Power Company (PC Lam Dong) simultaneously participated in voluntary blood donation, responding to the 11th Pink Week. This is not only a life-saving action but also demonstrates the social responsibility of the Electricity industry - where electricians not only light up the power source but also sow seeds of love, spreading humanistic values to the community.

At PC Lam Dong, voluntary blood donation is no longer an impromptu movement but has become a part of the corporate culture, maintained regularly for many years. That spirit spreads strongly from the Board of Directors to each employee, from departments to affiliated Power Management Teams.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Deputy Director of PC Lam Dong, shared: “ The blood connection will spread the energy of love, which is the consistent message that PC Lam Dong sends to the community. We consider this a social responsibility of each employee and a cultural beauty that needs to be preserved. Not only ensuring a stable power source, we also want to contribute to sharing with the community .”
According to Mr. Nhan, the annual blood donation movement proves that the spirit of volunteerism and sense of responsibility has become an indispensable part of Lam Dong electricians, people who always maintain discipline, professionalism at work and humanity in social activities.

Many employees have become "familiar faces" of the blood donation program. Mr. Le Hong Quang, a worker of Langbiang Power Management Team, shared that every time the Company launched a blood donation program, he always enthusiastically registered to participate. With the simple thought of "if others need it, I will give it", Mr. Quang has donated blood 5 to 6 times, contributing to helping patients in urgent need of blood.
Ms. Phan Thi Tuyet Phuong, Don Duong Electricity Management Team, also shared an emotional story: “Last year, I witnessed a patient in my family waiting for blood for a long time. Only then did I realize how valuable a drop of blood is. That is why this year I invited more colleagues to join. This is our way of helping the community.”
Numbers carry hope
On the morning of December 9 alone, PC Lam Dong donated 250 units of blood to save lives. Since 2014, the unit has donated over 1,430 units of blood within the framework of EVN Red Week. Those units of blood are not just meaningless numbers, but carry the hope and faith of those who are fighting against diseases.
A representative of the Lam Dong Red Cross said: PC Lam Dong is one of the most active business units and has had stable blood donation results over the years. The amount of blood received from the unit not only ensures quality but is also very timely during periods when the hospital is short of blood.

Every year, PC Lam Dong sets a clear target for the number of blood units to be donated. In particular, the program always receives overwhelming response from the staff, which shows that the spirit of blood donation has become a "bright spot" in the corporate culture.
This year, PC Lam Dong also recorded many employees participating for the first time. Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Huyen, Company Office shared: "At first, I was a bit nervous, but seeing all my colleagues happy and proud, I felt very excited. When I sat down to donate blood, the anxiety disappeared, only joy remained because I had done something useful."
Ms. Mai Thi Bich Thuy, Don Duong Power Management Team said: “ I once witnessed an emergency case that required 3 units of blood. When I learned that the hospital did not have much blood in reserve, I was very traumatized. Therefore, this year I decided to donate blood .”

Every drop of blood donated today is a chance to live for others, an invisible connection between hearts that know how to share. Voluntary blood donation activities at PC Lam Dong not only save people but also spread "energy of love" to the whole community - just like the humanitarian spirit that EVN has built over the years.
According to PC Lam Dong, EVN Pink Week is not only an annual event, but also a commitment to preserve and spread the tradition of kindness, and a commitment to continue accompanying the community with practical and loving actions. Every drop of blood today is a source of energy for hope - an energy that is lit by the hearts of PC Lam Dong electricians.
