On September 15, Deloitte Vietnam and Petrovietnam determined the audited financial figures for the period 2020-2024 of Petrovietnam, including the adjusted pre-tax profit figures of Petrovietnam. With the determined figures, Petrovietnam continues to be the most profitable enterprise in Vietnam.

This result not only reflects the operational efficiency of Petrovietnam but also affirms the mettle, intelligence and dedication of Petrovietnam's leadership and employees in fulfilling the targets and tasks assigned by the Party and the State. This is extremely meaningful in the context of Petrovietnam preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

With a healthy financial situation and flexible management capacity, in the period of 2020-2024, Petrovietnam has continuously set records in production and business, being objectively assessed and recognized by many prestigious organizations at home and abroad.

The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Petrovietnam's establishment and development. The past half-century has been a special journey, from the early days of "finding fire", Petrovietnam has grown remarkably, making great contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Through the completion and synchronization of the oil and gas industry chain, Petrovietnam has affirmed its important and core role in implementing the 5 words An, including: Energy security; Economic security; Food security; National defense security and national sovereignty at sea; and contributing to ensuring social security.

Petrovietnam currently supplies about 60-70% of the country's gasoline demand, 70-80% of the domestic gas demand, over 10% of electricity output and 70-80% of the domestic fertilizer demand. Domestic oil and gas fields, thousands of kilometers of gas pipeline systems, gas-fired power plants, petrochemical refineries, etc. have become the backbone in ensuring national energy security. 100% of the defense fuel produced by Petrovietnam is provided for national defense and security activities, protecting national sovereignty at sea.

By implementing the "5 An" mission, Petrovietnam has affirmed its reputation and position as a leading economic group in the country with 5 Best achievements: Being the largest enterprise, with total consolidated assets exceeding 1 million billion VND, equity capital of more than 556 trillion VND. Being the unit with the highest budget contribution, with an average of 160 trillion VND/year in recent years, accounting for 80.3% of the total budget payment of 18 Groups and General Corporations in the state-owned enterprise sector; having the highest profit, when the period 2020-2025 reached 316 trillion VND, equivalent to an average of 2.2 billion USD/year. Being the only enterprise to win many noble awards in science and technology, including 6 Ho Chi Minh Awards and 4 State Awards, along with dozens of prestigious international inventions. In particular, as a leading enterprise achieving the highest level in social security activities, in the 2020-2025 period alone, the Group has spent more than 5.13 trillion VND on community programs.
