The Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long was performed by 2,024 drones on New Year's Eve.
From the name Thang Long - a symbol of the strength and aspiration of the Vietnamese people, the performance will bring the story of the sacred dragon converging in the capital, full of splendor and heroism, shining in the sky of Hanoi, a thousand years of civilization. In the moment of prosperity and harmony between heaven and earth, this will be a unique cultural and artistic mark to welcome the new year of Giap Thin of the people of the capital in particular and the whole country in general with faith and hope for the prosperous development of the country.
According to information from the consulting and implementing unit - Corex Business Solutions Joint Stock Company, "Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long" will start from 11:30 p.m. on February 9 (ie the night of the 30th of Tet) to 0:15 a.m. on February 10 (ie the early morning of the 1st of Tet) in the area of Nguyen Dinh Thi - Trich Sai street (near Van Cao intersection), West Lake, Hanoi.
The event will take place in two parts: drone performance and high-altitude fireworks display. The program is expected to be broadcast within the framework of a special New Year's Eve television bridge of Vietnam Television (VTV) to serve people nationwide. To ensure the quality of the program as well as serve tourists and people who come to watch live, the organizers will arrange a high-quality sound system and screen around the performance area (Trich Sai - Van Cao and Nguyen Dinh Thi streets).
Sharing about the "Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long", Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, Chairman of Tay Ho District People's Committee said: "Tay Ho District is proud to be the first location in Hanoi to perform drone performances during the Lunar New Year 2024. With 2,024 drones, using the most modern technology, I hope that this will be an attractive performance for domestic people and international tourists. Most importantly, the story from the ancient capital of Thang Long to the present-day capital of Hanoi with a thousand-year history of culture will be the pride not only of Hanoi people but also of the people of the whole country".
Mr. Khuyen also assessed that the event contributed to affirming the position of Hanoi as an international destination as well as promoting the image of Vietnam to a large number of international tourists and friends. "The People's Committee of Tay Ho District thanks the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group and the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade for organizing this program and highly appreciates the spirit of contribution to the community and society of the two units," he said.
