Developing rural tourism in the new rural construction has created a strong shift in awareness and thinking about rural economic development. The program has made an important contribution to changing the thinking of the government, people and businesses from "farming" to "tourism", from single-value production to developing a rural economy integrating multi-value agriculture - culture - ecology - services.

Quang Ngai currently has 16 tourist attractions recognized by the Provincial People's Committee under the Law on Community-Managed Tourism. Of which, there are 02 products with 3-star OCOP status including: Tinh Khe Coconut Forest Community Tourism Service and Thang Loi Community Tourism Service. In the period of 2026 - 2030, the province strives to have 03 more community tourism attractions achieving 3-star OCOP status or higher including A Biu Tourist Spot, Ngok Bay Commune, Kon K'tu Community Tourism Cultural Village, Dak Ro Wa Commune and Chu Mom Ray National Park Experience Tourism.

In addition to the above points, the province focuses on developing rural tourism and community tourism in some localities. Forming and developing tours such as: Discovering Mang Den - Mysterious Central Highlands; Experience Ly Son - Heritage Journey; Returning to Sa Huynh - Cultural Exchange; Kon K'tu - A Biu community tourism. These tourism models not only change the face of the countryside but also create many values, contribute to preserving and promoting unique local cultural features and create jobs, improve income for people, and develop the rural economy in a sustainable direction.
