Thai Nguyen University Branch in Ha Giang celebrates Vietnamese Teachers' Day

On the morning of November 14, Thai Nguyen University Branch in Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang province held a ceremony to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025). Attending the ceremony were comrades: Vang Seo Con, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Giang 2 Ward; Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Van Hung, Director of Thai Nguyen University. Also attending were leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education; generations of teachers and students of the school through the periods.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the tradition of "Respecting teachers and valuing education", affirming the role of the branch's teaching staff in the journey of improving people's knowledge and training high-quality human resources for the province and the region. In recent times, the Branch has made remarkable progress in terms of training scale, teaching quality, scientific research activities, gradually affirming its role as a center for training high-quality human resources of the province. The Branch currently has nearly 3,200 graduate students and undergraduate students studying. Of these, there are 1,900 full-time students from 18 provinces and cities across the country, training in 13 majors; over 1,200 bridging students and nearly 100 graduate students.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of Thai Nguyen University Branch in Ha Giang expressed their deep gratitude to generations of teachers who have devoted their hearts and minds to laying the foundation for the development of the branch over the past years. At the same time, they expressed their determination to develop in the spirit of Resolution 71 on educational breakthroughs; to build the unit into a prestigious training facility, an environment for nurturing innovation and creativity, and training high-quality human resources.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Director of Thai Nguyen University Hoang Van Hung presented Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in 2023 and 2024.

At the ceremony, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the awards for Thai Nguyen University Branch in Ha Giang, including: 2 collectives receiving the Excellent Labor Emulation Title; Certificates of Merit for 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in 2023 and 2024; and awarding the Ministry-level Emulation Fighter Title to 1 individual.

Students receive the "Tan Trao Scholarship"

On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded the "Tan Trao supports going to school" scholarship in 2025 to 20 new students in difficult circumstances and gave 500 free accounts to access the data warehouse on the national digital platform Reavol.
