DNO - On January 17, the Department of Transport announced that it has implemented traffic diversion and restricted the movement of semi-trailers and tractor-trailers on National Highway 14B, from the intersection with Ho Xuan Huong Street to Hoa Cam overpass during rush hour.

Accordingly, implementing the policy of banning semi-trailers and trailers from traveling on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, 2 Thang 9 Street, Tien Son Bridge (on National Highway 14B) from the intersection with Ho Xuan Huong Street (Km12+241) to Hoa Cam overpass (Km18+250) during rush hours from 6:30 to 8:30 and 16:00 to 19:00, of the City People's Committee. The time to start implementing the policy of banning the above vehicles is from 0:00 on January 20, 2024.
The Department of Transport requests news agencies, newspapers, the Management Board of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks of Da Nang , Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company, the Da Nang Automobile Transport Association, the Da Nang Road Freight Transport Association, the Representative Office of the Vietnam Logistics Service Enterprises Association in Da Nang and the Department of Transport Management, Driver Vehicles - Department of Transport to inform transport units about the time to start implementing the policy of traffic separation and restriction of vehicle types according to the above policy.
Based on the time of starting to implement the above traffic diversion and restriction policy, it is recommended that the City Police direct functional forces to increase patrols and handle violations related to semi-trailers and trailers traveling on National Highway 14B.
