(Dan Tri) - Coach Ruben Amorim said that Man Utd showed many positive points after trying to regain a point against Nottingham Forest.

"In the past, if we had five bad minutes like this and conceded two goals, we wouldn't have been able to recover. Today was a different feeling," coach Amorim said after the 2-2 draw between Man Utd and Nottingham Forest in round 10 of the Premier League at City Ground on the evening of November 1.

After 3 consecutive wins, coach Amorim's team showed confidence when playing strong attack and opened the score in the first half thanks to midfielder Casemiro's goal in the 34th minute.

The surprise happened when the second half had just started for 5 minutes, the away team had to receive 2 consecutive goals. In the 48th minute, Morgan Gibbs-White headed the equalizer from Ryan Yates' pass, immediately after that Nicolo Savona took advantage of the away team's loose marking to increase the score to 2-1, causing the City Ground to explode.

Man Utd appeared deadlocked for a long time in the second half, but Amad Diallo shone in the 81st minute when he volleyed a left-footed shot into the roof of the Nottingham Forest net to earn a point for the home team.

"Man Utd lost control of the game for five minutes. But I felt the players tried, really tried. They tried all week and today as well.

We had the feeling that if we didn't win, at least we wouldn't lose. That's the feeling a big team has sometimes. Last season we lost that game by a bigger margin.

Man Utd need to work hard to bring the same away as at home. We are improving. Everyone can see that. The way we press, the urgency in some situations, I think we did better than last Sunday. We need to be like that in every game," coach Amorim expressed.

Striker Amad Diallo also shared after his superb goal to bring the home team to a 2-2 draw: "Playing against Nottingham Forest is always difficult. We wanted to win this match after three consecutive matches. We are a bit disappointed to only get one point. But we will learn from this match.

I think we are very confident now. We believe in the coach and the system. Everyone is focused. We are training to be in the best form. Man Utd have won three in a row and want to win the fourth. But we have been unlucky," Amad Diallo affirmed.
