According to the Organizing Committee, if the first contest recorded the optimistic spirit and positive energy of the city's people during the transition period, the second " Ho Chi Minh City - New Colors" Photo Contest is a further step to record a larger, more diverse, deeper and more hopeful city.

Today's expanded Ho Chi Minh City not only adds geographical space, but also expands vision, culture, and harmony between urban and rural areas; where every street, every residential area, every journey of life bears the mark of change.

Therefore, this year's contest has a special meaning: Honoring the cultural and human values of the expanded Ho Chi Minh City, from bustling downtown areas to new lands with sea and mountains, imbued with traditional culture; evoking the spirit of community cohesion, so that each citizen can become an "emotional ambassador" through their own photos and promote the image of the new city to the whole country and internationally, contributing to promoting tourism, creative economy , sustainable development and enhancing the city's position.
