The contest is organized to promote the image, role and contributions of the culture, sports and tourism sector in the cause of national construction and development, while contributing to arousing pride, sense of responsibility and love for the profession of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole sector.
The contest creates an artistic playground for musicians, artists, individuals, and organizations with musical talent... through which the organizers hope to receive works of artistic value and positive content and seek out typical songs to serve propaganda, performance, as well as cultural and political activities of the industry.
The selection results will be the basis for choosing the official propaganda song for the industry, contributing to spreading the positive image of the culture, sports and tourism industry while promoting the image of dynamic, integrated and humane Vietnamese people.
Participants include professional and amateur musicians, Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living, studying and working in Vietnam; organizations, individuals and music lovers with the ability to compose.
Members of the organizing committee and the jury are allowed to submit works but will not be considered for awards. If the work is of high artistic quality and meets all the criteria, the organizing committee will consider selecting it as the official song of the industry and award a separate prize.
Accepted genres include chamber music, light music, contemporary folk, jazz, rock, pop, choir, and solo. Each song must express content praising the traditions, roles, and contributions of the culture, sports, and tourism sector; honoring national cultural values, the spirit of sports, sustainable tourism, and the image of modern, integrated Vietnamese people. The melody must be harmonious, the lyrics clear, easy to remember, easy to sing, and demonstrate the connection between music and lyrics.

The submitted work must be a new composition, never published or entered into any competition, and must not violate Vietnamese customs and laws. The submitted work must have full music and lyrics in Vietnamese, clearly presented on A4 paper, and accompanied by an audio CD (if available). Before submitting it to the judging panel, the organizing committee will encrypt the work to ensure objectivity.
Time for receiving entries: From November 13 to December 15, 2025. After the deadline, the selection committee will review, evaluate and select 15 outstanding songs. These works will be sent to units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism or Department of Culture and Sports of provinces and cities for voting. The voting results will be the basis for the selection committee to decide on the structure and ranking of the awards.
Regarding the prize structure: the organizing committee will award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes. The prize structure can be adjusted depending on the quality and quantity of entries. The closing and award ceremony is expected to take place on December 31, 2025 in Hanoi.
