Launching the Song Composition Contest about Thieu Hoa

In order to promote the ability and creative spirit of organizations and individuals in the development of culture and arts, contributing to arousing pride, raising awareness of preserving and promoting historical traditions and cultural values, on the morning of April 8, Thieu Hoa District Party Committee held the launching ceremony of the contest "Composing songs about Thieu Hoa".

The contest will select new, high-quality musical works with content that reflects the traditional historical, cultural, revolutionary characteristics, natural landscapes, and landmarks in the district; about famous people from Thieu Hoa who have contributed to the development of the district; profound memories, feelings, and love for the land, people, and hometown of Thieu Hoa.

Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thieu Hoa district Nguyen Van Bien spoke at the ceremony.

Besides, praising the homeland tradition, patriotism, love between couples, love for Thieu Hoa people; the spirit of creative labor, the will to rise up, the efforts to strive and achieve success of intellectuals, businessmen, workers, farmers, managers, students, all classes of people in the district and Thieu Hoa people from all over the country and abroad.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Thieu Hoa District Party Committee, Head of the Competition Steering Committee Do The Bang gave a speech.

At the same time, praise the potential, strengths, achievements, innovation and development of the district; encourage the cause of industrialization, modernization of the homeland and the movement to build a new cultural life, build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, develop Thieu Hoa district to become more and more beautiful, civilized, towards becoming a town and city.

The contest is open to professional and non-professional musicians and artists in all fields, industries, and professions who love composing music. All Vietnamese citizens living, working, studying, and laboring in Vietnam or abroad.

Entries will be accepted from the launch date until July 10, with awards and songs introduced on August 19, 2024.

The award structure includes 1 first prize worth 50 million VND, 2 second prizes worth 30 million VND each, 3 third prizes worth 20 million VND each, 4 consolation prizes worth 5 million VND each and 1 audience favorite prize worth 5 million VND.
