Responding to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), commemorating Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) and celebrating 20 years of Can Tho city being directly under the central government (January 1, 2004 - January 1, 2024), the Committee for the Advancement of Women of Can Tho city launched an online contest with the theme "Learning about the law on Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence".

The contest was launched to foster skills, form the habit of proactively studying and learning the law in many forms, promote the application of information technology in propaganda and dissemination of law; raise awareness, change behavior to implement gender equality and for the advancement of women, gradually narrow the gender gap and enhance the position and role of women in contributing to the cause of building and developing Can Tho city, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals of the National Action Program on Gender Equality.

Accordingly, the contestants are cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers of departments, branches, associations, and unions; soldiers of the armed forces; teachers, students, and pupils currently working or studying in Can Tho city.

Candidates register to take the exam directly through the online testing platform on the website of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Can Tho city with the domain name http//timhieuphapluatbdg.cantho.gov.vn or scan the QR code with a smartphone to identify access to the exam.

The Committee for the Advancement of Women of Can Tho City has launched an online contest with the theme "Learning about the law on Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence".

The test content includes: 19 multiple choice questions, 01 prediction of the number of participants who answer the multiple choice questions correctly. Candidates answer the questions by choosing 01 correct and most complete option out of 04 options for each question. The time for each test is 20 minutes, after the specified time the system will automatically end the test, the individual test taker has the right to end the test earlier than the specified time.

Each person can participate in multiple rounds, the last round is the basis for calculating points and ranking. The entry is only considered valid when the candidate fully answers 19 multiple choice questions and 01 prediction question of the exam.

Questions revolve around legal knowledge in the 2006 Law on Gender Equality; the 2022 Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence; Decree No. 125/2021/ND-CP of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the field of gender equality.

The contest will be launched on October 15, 2023 and will conclude and award prizes at 5:00 p.m. on October 31, 2023.

Regarding the awards, for the collective award, there are 9 awards selected according to 02 criteria: Ratio of contestants to the total number of people in the agency or unit; Ratio of correct answers to 19 multiple choice questions by contestants. For the individual award, there are 9 awards, the winner is the person who answers 19 multiple choice questions correctly and has the most correct or closest prediction of the total number of contestants who answered 19 multiple choice questions correctly. In case the contestant answers 19 multiple choice questions correctly and has the same predicted answer, the award will be given to the contestant who answered earlier.

The contest is organized online on the electronic information portal of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Can Tho city, the Standing Office of the Committee for the Advancement of Women of Can Tho city.

The prize structure includes: For individual prizes, the first prize is worth 4,200,000 VND; For collective prizes, the first prize is worth 7,000,000 VND. The competition results are announced and updated on the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs' electronic information portal, in writing and on mass media immediately after the competition ends.
