Launching the emulation campaign "45 days and nights to speed up construction progress" of the 1,200-bed Ca Mau General Hospital

Implementing the direction of Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai, on the morning of November 14, the Construction Project Management Board of Ca Mau province organized the launch of the emulation campaign "45 days and nights to speed up the construction progress" of the investment project to build the Ca Mau General Hospital with a scale of 1,200 beds.

Attending the launching ceremony were Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Huynh Quoc Viet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan.

The 1,200-bed Ca Mau General Hospital Project, invested by the Ca Mau Provincial Construction Project Management Board, is one of the province's key projects, of special importance not only for people's health care but also marking a strong transformation of the province in completing a synchronous and modern socio -economic infrastructure system.

However, the project implementation process encountered some difficulties and problems, so the construction progress was slower than planned.

Director of Ca Mau Province Construction Project Management Board Trinh Thanh Sang delivered a speech launching the emulation movement.

To speed up the construction progress and disbursement of capital for the project in 2025, Director of the Ca Mau Provincial Construction Project Management Board Trinh Thanh Sang launched a peak emulation campaign of "45 days and nights to speed up construction progress" with the spirit of "Focus - determination - acceleration - on-time completion", so that in these 45 days and nights, the volume will exceed 30% compared to normal, the volume of work will be completed in 60 days, 15 days shorter than the planned progress.

The Director of the Provincial Construction Project Management Board requested construction units to mobilize maximum human resources, machinery, equipment, organize continuous construction in three shifts, working day, night, and even on holidays, ensuring progress according to plan; strictly implement regulations on labor safety, environmental sanitation, technology and aesthetics, ensuring the quality of the project is paramount; regularly inspect, urge, and promptly remove difficulties; enhance the spirit of solidarity, coordination, discipline, and responsibility in all stages of construction.

The investor commits to accompany, provide timely support, remove difficulties, and create the best conditions for contractors to complete their tasks.

Responding to the emulation launch, the contractor's representative pledged to speed up the progress with the highest determination, work overtime, and increase shifts; overcome the sun and rain; ensure the quality of the project and progress according to plan.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan emphasized: The investment project to build the 1,200-bed Ca Mau General Hospital has profound social significance. We must work with all our hearts, with a sense of responsibility and self-respect so that the project can be completed as committed.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan requested the investor and contractors to promote the spirit of "If you say you will do it, if you commit, you must do it, if you are determined, you must be more determined, if you make an effort, you must make an even greater effort"; work "3 shifts, 4 shifts", work day, night, work on holidays... to make up for the slow progress.

On this occasion, Ca Mau province presented gifts to officers, engineers and workers working at the project construction site to encourage and motivate their enthusiasm in working, overcoming difficulties, completing assigned tasks excellently, and soon putting the project into operation, contributing to serving the health care needs of the people.
