On the afternoon of June 4, the Yen Mo District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee coordinated with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Yen Thinh Town to organize a conference to launch the emulation movement "10 minutes to contribute to improving the environment" and to propagate and mobilize people to collect and classify waste. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee.
Accordingly, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Yen Thinh town mobilized all agencies, units and people of 17 residential groups to carry out the following contents: Every day, each individual and household spends at least 10 minutes to clean and sanitize residential areas and streets; each residential group spends 10 minutes to propagate, commend and remind people to practice environmental sanitation; officials, civil servants and workers spend 10 minutes to arrange and clean their workplaces; students spend 10 minutes to neatly arrange their school supplies...
Every week, each residential group, agency, unit, school, and cooperative spends 10 minutes mobilizing human resources to carry out a general cleaning of the living and working environment. Every month, agencies and units spend 10 minutes evaluating and praising the results of the movement at conferences and meetings.
The launching of the emulation movement "10 minutes to contribute to improving the environment" aims to strengthen the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the government, the participation of the entire political system and the people of Yen Thinh town to actively participate in environmental sanitation work. From there, forming habits and civilized lifestyles of each cadre, party member, union member, association member and people of all walks of life, contributing to the effective implementation of environmental criteria in the movement to build advanced new rural areas.
At the launching ceremony, representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and residential groups of Yen Thinh town signed a commitment to implement the emulation movement "10 minutes to contribute to improving the environment".
On this occasion, the Yen Mo District Party Committee supported 100 trash bins for Yen Thinh town to effectively deploy and implement the movement. In addition, representatives of the Yen Mo District Women's Union also propagated and instructed the people of Yen Thinh town on how to collect and classify waste.
