Comrades Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Associate Professor, Dr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Associate Professor, Dr. Do Hong Quan, President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations ; Major General, musician Duc Trinh, President of the Vietnam Musicians Association attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong emphasized that the contest is a meaningful activity, aiming to honor the values, spirit and identity of those who are dedicating day and night to the cause of "building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity".

According to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, during nearly 80 years of formation and development, the culture, sports and tourism sector has continuously grown, becoming one of the important pillars contributing to the spiritual, physical and soul of the Vietnamese people. Generations of cadres, civil servants, public employees, artists, athletes and workers in the whole sector have made continuous efforts to bring the image of Vietnamese culture, sports and tourism far and wide, contributing to promoting the country and people of Vietnam as friendly, dynamic and creative to international friends.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a songwriting contest about the culture, sports and tourism sector, with the desire to find new works of high artistic value and influence, praising the faith, love for the profession and the desire to contribute of the team of cadres, civil servants, artists, athletes and workers in the whole sector. This is also an opportunity to inspire creativity among artists, create songs to accompany the sector, contributing to spreading the message: "Culture is the spiritual foundation of society, both the goal and the driving force of the country's sustainable development."
Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong expressed his wish to receive many rich and diverse compositions in style, from songs with traditional folk melodies to youthful and modern compositions, expressing the industry's desire for innovation and integration in the new period...

The songwriting contest about the culture, sports and tourism industry is open to professional and non-professional musicians who are Vietnamese citizens or foreigners living, working, studying and working in Vietnam; organizations, individuals, and the public who love music and have the ability to compose music. The entries are in the genres of chamber music, light music, contemporary folk music, jazz, rock, pop, choir, and solo. The works praise the tradition, role and contribution of the culture, sports and tourism industry in the cause of national development; honor the values of national culture, the spirit of sustainable tourism, modern and integrated Vietnamese people; arouse pride, inspiration, creativity and innovation in the whole industry.
The Organizing Committee will accept entries from November 13 to December 15. The awards include 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 4 Consolation Prizes. The results of the competition will be the basis for selecting the official propaganda song for the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector, contributing to spreading the positive image of the sector.
