From July 1, 2025, Luong Van Tri ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Chi Lang ward and Quang Lac commune (formerly Lang Son city). The ward has an area of nearly 32 km², with a population of about 23,000 people.
As a locality with potential and advantages for strong development in trade, services, tourism associated with agricultural and forestry economy , Luong Van Tri ward has many favorable factors to strongly develop community tourism models, experiential tourism and ecological resorts. Luong Van Tri ward has been implementing many practical solutions for planting trees, improving landscape, caring for and protecting the environment.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Luong Van Tri Ward; cadres, civil servants, public employees of departments, offices, and unions of the ward, along with nearly 200 union members, youths, and local residents participated in planting 400 bougainvillea trees (in vertical rows, with a distance of 2m between trees). The tree planting location is on the negative slope along DT.234 road, in the area of Quang Trung I and Quang Trung II blocks, Luong Van Tri Ward.
This is a practical and meaningful activity to welcome the 1st Party Congress of Luong Van Tri Ward for the 2025-2030 term and welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, while creating a green, clean and beautiful environment and landscape in the area.
