Discovering a 3kg pangolin, a Quang Tri man handed it over to the authorities.

QTO - On the morning of November 1, information from the Nam Dong Ha Ward Police, Quang Tri Province said that the unit had just coordinated with functional forces to receive a pangolin belonging to the group of rare and endangered animals from the people.

Previously, at around 8:30 p.m. on October 31, on his way home from work, at the intersection of Nguyen Hue and Dang Tat streets in Nam Dong Ha ward, Mr. Le Van Huan, residing in Quarter 2, Nam Dong Ha ward, discovered a pangolin crawling on the road.

Immediately after that, Mr. Huan reported to the authorities. Upon receiving the report, Nam Dong Ha Ward Police coordinated with Cam Lo - Dong Ha Forest Protection Department, representatives of the Ward's Economic , Infrastructure and Urban Department to go to Mr. Huan's house to receive and make a record of handing over the pangolin to the Forest Protection Department for care and handling according to regulations.

It is known that the pangolin weighs about 3 kg, is classified as a rare and endangered wild animal according to regulations, and is strictly protected.
