Bomb discovered in Tan Lai stream area, Lam Dong

On the morning of November 13, the Military Command of Tuy Phong commune announced that it had discovered a bomb left over from the war in the Tan Lai stream area (Tuy Phong commune, Lam Dong).

The bomb was discovered by Mr. Cao Cuong (born 1994), residing in village 2, Tuy Phong commune, at Tan Lai stream, Tuy Phong commune at 7:00 a.m. on November 12.

After receiving the information, Tuy Phong Commune Military Command sent a working group to the scene to survey, cordon off the area, and put up danger signs.

The bomb weighs about 80-90 kg.

According to the survey results, the bomb was heavily rusted, and its type, serial number, and symbol were unidentified. The bomb was 90cm long and 30cm in diameter, with the tail of the bomb broken into pieces measuring 15x20cm. The bomb weighed about 80-90kg. The area where it was discovered was right at Tan Lai stream rock field, village 2, Tuy Phong commune.

The Tuy Phong Commune Military Command has requested the Phan Thiet Region 5 Defense Command to send specialized officers to survey, collect, and destroy the items to ensure people's safety.
