Changing face of the countryside

Village 7 is the central village of Lien Huong commune with 397 households/1,879 people, people mainly work in trade - services, industry - construction and agriculture. In recent years, village 7 has changed when infrastructure has been invested synchronously, many new, spacious houses have sprung up. The roads are clean, beautiful and airy, the drainage system is built by the State and the People together, helping the landscape to be brighter - greener - cleaner.

The Village 7 Front Committee closely coordinates with the village chief and branches and organizations to promote legal propaganda to help villagers grasp the policies of the State and the locality. The village maintains regular activities of the Drug Prevention and Control Team, closely monitors high-risk groups and widely propagates the harmful effects of drugs. Thanks to that, since the beginning of the year, the village has not had any new drug users, contributing to maintaining political security and social order.

According to the Village Front Committee, in 2025, the village had one more household escape poverty; currently, there are 3 poor households and 17 near-poor households, regularly receiving support from the Front and benefactors. In addition, the study promotion movement continues to be maintained with 246 households achieving "Learning Family" and 355 households achieving "Cultural Family", reaching a rate of 98.8%. With outstanding achievements, the Village Front Committee has been classified as having excellently completed its tasks for many consecutive years and has received a certificate of merit from the province.

Or in Phuoc The village 1, bordering the sea and located on Highway 1A, there are favorable conditions for developing an agricultural economy associated with services. People grow grapes, dragon fruit, and apples while expanding trade and tourism; life is improved thanks to increasingly complete infrastructure. That is thanks to the contribution of the Front Work Committee coordinating with associations and unions to effectively implement the movement to build a cultural life. All households have signed a civilized commitment, no violations of the law or social evils occur.

From the central support, Lien Huong commune has built 16 new houses and repaired 1 house with a total cost of 990 million VND; the Commune Front mobilized an additional 36.1 million VND to support difficult cases. In addition, the commune has also built new houses and repaired 2 houses for people with meritorious services.

Building self-management awareness among the people

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lien Huong commune and its member organizations have promoted their core role in building the great national unity bloc. Based on the unification of the previous 4 communes and towns, the Commune Front continues to innovate its mobilization methods, deploying practical patriotic emulation movements, gaining the consensus of the people, thereby promoting production and improving local life.

The highlight is that from the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", member organizations of the Front have implemented many projects close to people's needs, from ensuring security, order, environmental protection to building essential infrastructure.

Typically, in village 13 Lien Huong, the installation of security cameras helps monitor and promptly handle littering. Along with that, many "security light" routes were formed when people voluntarily contributed to install solar lights, from small alleys to along the embankment. People in village 3 Lien Huong and village 3 Binh Thanh voluntarily contributed more than 103 million VND to build concrete roads and repair damaged sections. New flag stands were also installed on the main roads, contributing to creating a spacious appearance for the whole commune...

In addition, businesses and philanthropists also contributed to repairing and building new houses for poor households.

More importantly, it is to create a civilized lifestyle and self-management awareness in each household. Because when people proactively join hands, all projects have vitality and spread.
