On November 25, the Traffic Police Department of Thu Duc City (HCMC) issued an administrative violation report against NTN (15 years old), D.HGB (15 years old), PTL (13 years old, all residing in Thu Duc City) for driving a one-wheeled vehicle on a two-wheeled vehicle (wheelie), underage driving, vehicle without rearview mirrors... and NPTA (8 years old, residing in Binh Thanh District) for being underage driving.
Because they were under 16 years old, this group was only given a warning and had their vehicles temporarily impounded. At the same time, the police also worked with the vehicle owners to hand over the vehicles to the above violators, and fined 7 million VND/violator.
A group of teenagers gathered to do wheelies in the High-Tech Park of Ho Chi Minh City and were arrested by the Traffic Police.
Authorities determined that this group often gathered on D15 road connecting to D2 road (Tang Nhon Phu B ward) and then drove motorbikes at high speed, without helmets, and did wheelies in the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park.
The road connecting D15 and D2 roads, although the authorities had barricaded the area and put up warning tape indicating that it was a dangerous area and that no one was allowed to enter, this group still arbitrarily opened a path to get inside.
On the afternoon of November 21, a working group of the Traffic Police Department of Thu Duc City Police ambushed and brought the above mentioned "speed demons" and some related people to the headquarters for questioning.
Previously, the D15 route was also the place where model Ngoc Trinh performed offensive driving movements and this person was handled by the authorities. Model Ngoc Trinh is currently being detained for 3 months to investigate the act of disturbing public order.
