Developing production and business activities must go hand in hand with caring for the workers.

The Lunar New Year is not only a time for family reunions, but also an opportunity for businesses to show care and support for their employees after a year of hard work. In Thai Nguyen, along with maintaining stable production, many companies have proactively developed plans for Tet bonuses and salaries, helping workers feel secure in their jobs and enjoy a more fulfilling and warm Spring Festival.

In the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), at Hasol Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. - a company manufacturing electronic components and devices with over 7,000 employees in the province - the working atmosphere remains bustling and orderly. On the production lines, workers are focused on completing year-end orders, ensuring production schedules are met.

By the end of 2025, the company achieved a growth rate of approximately 25%. From the very first month of 2026, production activities will continue to adhere to the plan, with projected growth for the year reaching 25-28%.

Stable production is a crucial condition for ensuring jobs and income for workers, with the average salary last year reaching 10-12 million VND/person/month. This Tet holiday, in addition to existing benefits, the company is providing an extra "13th-month" salary and Tet gifts for all workers.

Ms. Pham Minh Quy, an employee at the company, shared: "This year, orders are stable, so our income continues to be secure. Although it's more strenuous, having extra income helps us have better conditions to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year), and we feel very happy. In addition to the 13th-month salary, the company also gives Tet gifts and provides additional support for employees to return home for the holidays."

In addition to focusing on production, businesses have identified caring for the well-being of their employees as a key factor for sustainable development.

At Dongwha Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Mr. Seo Jin Seok, General Director of the company, said: "Taking care of the lives of our employees is a crucial foundation for the company's stable production and sustainable development. In addition to ensuring full benefits and entitlements, this Tet holiday we are allocating extra funds to show our appreciation to our employees."

Not only in factories and production facilities, but also at many construction sites throughout the province, in the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), construction units are maintaining their progress. Besides receiving full salaries, timely Tet gifts have become a practical source of encouragement.

Machinery and equipment were mobilized to their maximum capacity in the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year) on the Cho Moi – Bac Kan road construction site.
In the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), workers on the Cho Moi – Bac Kan road construction site are still working diligently.

Mr. Tran Nam Cao, a worker on the Cho Moi – Bac Kan road construction project, expressed: "At the end of the year, there's a lot of work, but we're all trying our best to stay on the construction site. The company paid our salaries on time and gave us meaningful Tet gifts, which made us very happy. Although everyone wants to go home early as Tet approaches, we're all united and determined to complete the project before the holiday."

According to information from the Department of Internal Affairs of Thai Nguyen province, this year's Lunar New Year holiday sees most businesses in the area planning Tet bonuses for their employees, with the estimated bonus amount increasing by about 3% compared to last year. Notably, at some businesses, the highest Tet bonus reached over 100 million VND. Besides bonuses, many companies are still maintaining the "13th month salary" and other supplementary benefits.

Mr. Pham Hoang Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs of Thai Nguyen province, said: "Generally, businesses in the province have proactively developed plans for salaries and Tet bonuses early and publicly disclosed them to employees. This year's Tet bonus levels are basically stable, with some businesses offering high bonuses, demonstrating the efforts of the business community in supporting and sharing with employees."

Timely attention to employment, income, and compensation not only helps workers have a fulfilling and warm Tet holiday, but also motivates them to stay with the company long-term and work together with the business to maintain production levels from the very first days of the new year.

In the context of a challenging economic environment, the partnership and sharing between businesses and workers is a crucial foundation for maintaining growth, stabilizing social welfare, and creating new momentum for a year of production and business with high expectations.
