The message emphasized at the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 recently held in Ho Chi Minh City is that people are at the center of development, while reaffirming the commitment to promoting greening, digital transformation and international cooperation.
This spirit permeates the academic environment, reflected through in-depth research and scientific discussions at conferences organized by universities and units.
On November 30, atFPT University Danang branch, the FCBEM 2025 Economics, Business and Management Scientific Conference was held. The conference brought together experts and researchers from Australia, India, the Philippines and Vietnam, presenting 38 studies revolving around economic, business and management issues in the context of global digital transformation.

One of the highlights of the conference was the research on opportunities for green and sustainable economic development based on technology. In Vietnam, AI, VR and many new platforms have clearly appeared in banking, agriculture, education, etc. to improve user experience and optimize operational processes.
Specifically, in the finance and banking sector, VoicePay using AI is being deployed to upgrade services and secure transactions. In agriculture, traceability technology helps to make information transparent and meet international standards. In the education sector, VR is being introduced into postgraduate training to increase practicality and improve the learning experience.

In addition to the trend of technological transformation, consumer behavior, especially among Generation Z, is also the focus of discussion. Many reports analyze Gen Z's intention to use environmentally friendly means of transport, while exploiting data from UGC (User Generated Content) on digital platforms to optimize business operations and build sustainable customer relationships.
Not only focusing on research on economics, business and management in Vietnam, the conference also recorded an international perspective. Prof. Russell G. Thompson (University of Melbourne, Australia) presented research on Physical Internet - an open, connected logistics model, aiming at sustainability.
Prof. Preeti S. Rawat (Somaiya Vidyavihar University, India) analyzes the nature of cooperation in organizations, cultural factors and leadership roles in a volatile economic context.

The studies and issues presented at FCBEM 2025 demonstrate the development of Vietnamese academia in the digitalization process, while also reflecting the role of universities and businesses in connecting international experts and promoting economic knowledge for sustainable development.
The FCBEM conference is organized annually by FPT Corporation. 2025 is the 6th time this conference is held, with the theme: “Innovating for the Future: Business Transformation in a Dynamic World”, continuing to be an academic forum gathering many prestigious domestic and international experts.
