Approving the election results and dismissing the position of Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee

(Chinhphu.vn) - On December 1, 2025, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed the Prime Minister's Decisions approving the election results and dismissal of the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang (middle, holding flowers) was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

Specifically, in Decision No. 2628/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the City Party Committee, Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Hue City.

Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, born in 1981; hometown: Duong No Ward, Hue City. Professional qualification: PhD in Tourism and Service Management; Political theory qualification: Senior.

Before being elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021 - 2026 term, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang had held the following positions: Deputy Head, Head of the Propaganda - Press - Publishing Department, Propaganda Department of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue Province; Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province (now Hue City); Member of the City Party Committee, Standing Member of the Party Committee of Hue City People's Committee, Chief of Office of the Party Committee of Hue City People's Committee, Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Hue City.

On November 18, 2025, he was elected by the People's Council of Hue city to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue city for the 2021-2026 term.

* In Decision No. 2630/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the results of the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021-2026 term.
