The three crew members of the Shenzhou-20 spacecraft returned safely to Earth on November 14, after completing a six-month mission on the national space station, the China Manned Space Administration (CMSA) said.
The return was delayed by more than a week due to damage to the spacecraft after colliding with space debris.
The astronauts had to transfer to the return capsule of the Shenzhou-21 spacecraft to return to Earth.
The spacecraft successfully landed at Dongfeng landing site in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, according to a statement from CMSA.
Live footage on state television CCTV showed the capsule carrying the three astronauts touching down with parachutes deployed, officially ending the Shenzhou-20 mission.
Previously, the Shenzhou-21 spacecraft successfully completed important compartment separation steps. Specifically, the orbital compartment of the Shenzhou-21 spacecraft separated from the return compartment, followed by the thruster compartment./.
