The first meeting of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee after the province's merger

On the afternoon of July 2, the Provincial People's Committee held its first meeting after the province's merger to consider many important issues. Comrade Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Attending were Standing members of the Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches, and specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.

Issued 18 decisions on working regulations, functions, tasks, and organizational structure of agencies.

The meeting reviewed and discussed the submissions of departments and branches and voted to approve 18 Decisions of the Provincial People's Committee on the Working Regulations of the Provincial People's Committee; regulations on functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of agencies and units after the merger.

Discussing at the meeting, the Standing Committee members of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the responsibility of the agencies in preparing the contents of the work presented at the meeting. The specialized departments and branches implemented the documents presented at the meeting with a large volume of work but successfully completed the assigned tasks. The delegates also requested the departments, branches and staff units to continue reviewing the functions and tasks to avoid overlap, omission, and over-emphasis, promote decentralization and delegation of power; study the contents of the comments at the meeting and propose additions to the regulations in accordance with practical conditions.

Ensure synchronous and effective implementation of tasks

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc requested that in order to ensure the synchronous and effective implementation of tasks in the coming time, the Department of Finance coordinates with the Management Boards - investors of the projects to review unfinished and pending projects and propose solutions to speed up progress and complete them as planned.

At the same time, advise the province to rebuild the province's growth scenario and solutions to ensure budget revenue targets; continue to urge the acceleration of disbursement of capital sources; review the arrangement and placement of surplus headquarters after the arrangement; grasp the capacity of private enterprises.

Currently entering the peak of the rainy and flood season, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to develop a scenario to respond to natural disasters, especially in disadvantaged communes. At the same time, accelerate the digitization of land data; strengthen mineral management; advise on solutions to develop high-quality, unique agricultural products of the province.

Comrade Phan Huy Ngoc requested the Department of Home Affairs to review and advise the province to remove difficulties for communes that are lacking staff after the rearrangement; continue to speed up the editing and digitization of documents; develop a monthly scoring regulation for heads of departments, branches and Chairmen of People's Committees at the commune level; propose the Provincial People's Committee to reward collectives and individuals with many achievements in implementing the merger of provinces and communes in the past time.

Departments and branches, based on their assigned functions and tasks, continue to synchronously and effectively implement targets and tasks for the last 6 months of the year, ensuring the province's growth targets in 2025.
