On the morning of November 28, a working delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Huu Huy visited and inspected the situation of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and encouraged schools and people in Hoa Thinh commune after the prolonged flood.

The delegation visited the following schools: Hoa Thinh Primary School, Dong Khoi Secondary School and Hoa Dong Primary School. These are schools that were severely affected by the recent floods. At each destination, comrade Do Huu Huy kindly visited and encouraged the teachers and students; acknowledged the school's efforts in urgently cleaning up, overcoming the damage, and soon stabilizing the learning routine.

In order to provide timely support to students in flood-affected areas, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented 600 gifts to students and schools. This is a practical source of encouragement to help students overcome difficulties, especially those whose houses were flooded and whose books and school supplies were lost.

He requested the education and training sector and local authorities to continue to pay attention to and support facilities and teaching equipment, ensuring conditions for students to go to school safely and fully; not allowing schools and students to lack books, machines and equipment for teaching and learning.

Working with Hoa Thinh commune, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee deeply sympathized with the difficulties that the locality had to face during the past week of floods; at the same time, highly appreciated the proactive and determined spirit of the government and local forces in responding, evacuating people, rescuing and supporting people in flooded areas.

All books and school supplies of Hoa Dong Primary School were damaged by flood water.

He requested that the locality continue to review and count the damage; urgently deploy remedial measures, absolutely not letting people go hungry or lack water for daily use. In addition, it is necessary to focus on environmental sanitation, disease prevention after the flood; mobilize forces to support house repairs, stabilize housing and deploy support solutions so that people in the "flood center" can soon rebuild their lives.
