At the meeting, Mr. Cao Anh Minh, General Director of HTV, stated: After the merger, HTV has more than 1,000 staff members, with 15 television channels, 5 radio channels, and 100 channels on digital platforms, aiming to build HTV into a multi-media news agency.
Regarding future cooperation programs, from a professional perspective, HTV hopes to carry out policy communication to disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and programs promoting the image, land, people, and socio -economic aspects of Ca Mau province to audiences both domestically and internationally.
Regarding upcoming events in Ca Mau such as the Ca Mau Crab Festival and the Ca Mau Marathon 2025 PETROVIETNAM Cup, HTV will cooperate in promoting them to create a strong impact. During the meeting, representatives from the Ca Mau Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism provided further information about the Ca Mau Marathon 2025 PETROVIETNAM Cup; they also mentioned that the upcoming Ca Mau Crab Festival – 2nd Edition in 2025 will feature many activities in Ca Mau province and Ho Chi Minh City. They requested HTV's support in media coverage of this event.
Members of the HTV delegation highly appreciated the potential and advantages of Ca Mau province after the merger. Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy emphasized: The leaders of Ca Mau province are very interested in the cooperation program between Ca Mau and HTV. Initially, they requested HTV's support in broadcasting the opening ceremony of the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival in 2025 and in communicating the activities that follow.
Regarding the 2026 cooperation program, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy instructed the Provincial People's Committee to clearly define each area of cooperation and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for their opinion so that the official signing can take place as soon as possible. In particular, strong communication should be given to highlighting the potential and strengths after the merger and the key national projects being implemented in the province; promoting the land and people of Ca Mau with its many famous anecdotes, tourism products, and traditional festivals; and simultaneously, the Provincial People's Committee should advise on organizing competitions and awards for traditional folk music (Don Ca Tai Tu) as proposed by the HTV delegation.
