Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy works with Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television Station

On the afternoon of November 13, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy worked with the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television (HTV) on the coordination of implementing the cooperation program in 2026. Attending the meeting was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang.

At the meeting, Mr. Cao Anh Minh, General Director of HTV said: After the merger, HTV has more than 1,000 officers and employees, with 15 television channels, 5 radio channels and 100 channels on digital platforms, aiming to build HTV into a multimedia press agency.

Regarding the cooperation program in the coming time, from a professional perspective, HTV wishes to carry out policy communication to propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and promotional programs about the image, land, people, and socio- economics of Ca Mau province to domestic and foreign audiences.

Regarding the upcoming programs in Ca Mau such as: Ca Mau Crab Festival, Marathon - Ca Mau 2025 PETROVIETNAM Cup, HTV will coordinate propaganda to create a strong spread. HTV also wishes to organize the Mekong bicycle race, the destination is Dat Mui and programs about Southern amateur music, TV series, documentaries about Ca Mau...

At the meeting, the representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province provided more information about the Marathon - Ca Mau 2025 PETROVIETNAM Cup; at the same time, he said that the upcoming Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 will have many activities in Ca Mau province and in Ho Chi Minh City. Thereby, he hoped that HTV would support the communication of this event.

Members of the HTV delegation highly appreciated the potential and advantages of Ca Mau province after the merger. Because this is the southernmost land of the country, there are abundant resources to produce many good and attractive programs to attract domestic and foreign audiences. To do that, there needs to be a coordination mechanism and a suitable and specific cooperation program, especially in policy communication, culture, sports, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy emphasized: The leaders of Ca Mau province are very interested in the cooperation program between Ca Mau and HTV. In the immediate future, HTV is requested to support the province in broadcasting the opening ceremony of the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and communicating the activities that will take place afterwards.

Regarding the 2026 cooperation program, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy assigned the Provincial People's Committee to clearly identify each content that needs cooperation and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for comments to proceed with the official signing as soon as possible. In particular, it is important to pay attention to strong communication about the potentials and strengths after the merger and the key national projects being implemented in the province; promote the land and people of Ca Mau with many famous anecdotes, about tourism products, traditional festivals, etc.; at the same time, assign the Provincial People's Committee to advise on organizing competitions and awards for amateur music according to the direction proposed by the HTV working group.
