Disseminate regulations on accommodation and tourism services business activities

DNO - On the afternoon of December 12, the Department of Tourism held a conference to disseminate regulations on accommodation and tourism service business activities to representatives of directors, owners of accommodation establishments, managers, and heads of departments from accommodation establishments and tourism service establishments in the city.

The conference focused on disseminating and guiding contents such as the tourism situation in 2023 and expected implementation in 2024; guiding the content of State management of tourism accommodation service business activities and other tourism services according to the provisions of the Law on Tourism.

Monthly and annual statistical reporting according to regulations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; inspection and examination of compliance with legal regulations in tourism business activities and other tourism services and penalties.

In addition, disseminate and guide the management and declaration of foreign guests at tourist accommodation establishments; disseminate new regulations, contents and some notes on ensuring environmental protection conditions according to the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 and the level of penalties.

The conference also provided guidance on the contents to be noted regarding the implementation of online accommodation service price declaration; price posting according to regulations and penalty levels as well as some notes on invoices, documents, etc.

According to the representative of the Department of Tourism, through the conference, directors, owners, managers, representatives of businesses, tourist accommodation establishments and other tourism services in the city will grasp and understand to fully and seriously implement the new regulations related to tourism business activities, ensuring business activities comply with the law.

At the same time, raise awareness of self-compliance with the law during business operations, overcome some common violations in recent times at business units such as: not fully ensuring conditions for fire prevention and fighting, security and order, environmental protection; not declaring accommodation service prices online, not fully declaring guests as prescribed; impersonating star ratings...

Thereby building an increasingly safe, civilized and healthy tourism environment, continuing to affirm the brand of Da Nang destination on the domestic and international tourism map.
