Vietnamese beef pho is among the world's best dishes in 2024

Beef noodle soup is the only representative of Vietnam to appear in the ranking of the world's 100 most delicious dishes in 2024 recently announced by Taste Atlas.

With 4.44/5 points, beef pho ranked 93rd on this year's list.

The famous culinary site describes Vietnamese beef pho as having a rich broth simmered from beef bones, beef shank, oxtail with ginger, onions and herbs such as cinnamon, star anise and cloves.

Pho is served hot, in addition to pho noodles there will be different types of beef such as brisket, flank, tendon, beef balls and some herbs sprinkled on top such as onions and coriander.

Topping the list this year is Lechona with a score of 4.78. This traditional Colombian dish consists of a roasted pig stuffed with onions, peas, fresh herbs and other spices.

The World's 100 Most Delicious Dishes is a ranking within the framework of the award. Taste Atlas annually, based on the votes and scores of food critics, chefs and gourmets around the world.

Established in 2015, Taste Atlas (headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia) is known as a map of traditional dishes from around the world.

According to Matija Babić, founder Taste Atlas, The food and beverage rankings are based on opinions and reviews from food experts and critics to ensure the reliability of the awards.
