The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice visits and extends New Year greetings to workers in Ham Thuan commune.

On the morning of February 8th, Ms. Tran Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chair of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice, and a member of the 15th National Assembly representing Lam Dong province, led a delegation to visit and extend New Year greetings to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Ham Thuan commune.

Ms. Tran Hong Nguyen extended New Year greetings and shared information about the work of laborers during the Tet holiday.

The delegation also included representatives from the Provincial Labor Union and the Ham Thuan Commune People's Committee.

At the following locations: Ham Thuan Bac Medical Center, Ham Thuan Commune Public Works Management Board, and TaZon Joint Stock Company, Ms. Tran Hong Nguyen cordially inquired about the labor situation, employment, and the efforts of union members and workers contributing to the overall results of the units in 2025.

The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly 's Committee on Law and Justice also shared words of encouragement with workers in the healthcare and public works sectors, who have to work throughout the Tet holiday to ensure the health care of the people, maintain environmental hygiene, and preserve urban aesthetics. This demonstrates the sense of responsibility and dedication of union members and workers who are willing to set aside the joy of family reunions to fulfill their duties during the Tet holiday.

The delegation presented five gifts from the Party and State leaders to five union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at TaZon Joint Stock Company. Each gift included 2 million VND in cash and a gift of goods worth 300,000 VND. They also presented seven gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to seven union members in difficult circumstances working at Ham Thuan Bac Medical Center and the Ham Thuan Commune Public Works Management Board, each gift consisting of 1 million VND in cash and Tet (Lunar New Year) gifts.

In addition, the Provincial Labor Union presented 51 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND in cash, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The annual activity of visiting and giving Tet gifts to workers carries profound humanitarian significance, contributing to spreading the spirit of "leaving no one behind." At the same time, it strengthens the trust of union members and workers in the care of the Party and the State, creating motivation for workers to continue to be committed and contribute to the socio-economic development of their units and localities.

It is known that, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, in the eastern region of the province, the Party and State leaders presented 100 gifts to union members and workers employed in various units and enterprises; the Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 100 gifts and the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 80 gifts.
