Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Thu Ha received the Korean Ambassador to Vietnam

On the morning of November 13, at the National Assembly House, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Thu Ha received Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Choi Young Sam.

At the meeting, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Thu Ha and Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Choi Young Sam shared information about high-level delegation exchanges in the coming time.

Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Thu Ha informed the Ambassador about the activities of the ongoing 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. This is a long session with a large amount of work, expected to consider and pass 49 laws and many resolutions.

Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Thu Ha emphasized that in the overall relationship between the two countries, cooperation between the two National Assemblies plays an important role, developing increasingly deeply, substantially and effectively, including the positive contributions of the National Assembly leaders, the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Parliamentary Friendship Groups (NSHN) of the two countries.

The two sides closely cooperate and support each other at multilateral inter-parliamentary forums such as IPU, APPF, ASEP, MSEAP, actively contributing to maintaining peace , stability and cooperation in the region and the world.

The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office affirmed that the Vietnamese National Assembly always accompanies the Government in implementing high-level agreements, creating favorable conditions for substantive cooperation activities between the two countries to effectively implement the comprehensive strategic partnership.

Ambassador Choi Young Sam stated that the Korean National Assembly wishes and will closely cooperate with the Vietnamese National Assembly to support the two countries' governments in effectively and substantially implementing the Action Program to deploy the new relationship framework.

Ambassador Choi Young Sam also said that he always actively follows the activities of the Vietnamese National Assembly, including the review and promulgation of the High Technology Law - one of the laws that Korean enterprises are very interested in, in order to create a legal foundation for the development of high technology and strategic technology.

Appreciating the role of the Ambassador and the staff of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam in recent times, who have actively and dynamically coordinated with the National Assembly, ministries, branches and localities of Vietnam to promote the implementation of agreements between the two countries' senior leaders, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Thu Ha hopes that the Ambassador will continue to contribute to further promoting the good relations between Vietnam and Korea in general, and between the two countries' National Assemblies in particular.

At the meeting, the two sides also discussed issues of mutual concern and agreed to coordinate and support each other at regional and international inter-parliamentary forums.
