On the afternoon of January 19th, Mr. Tieu Hong Phuc, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, worked with the Party Committee of Nam Gia Nghia ward to assess the local situation.

At the meeting, the ward leaders reported on the local socio -economic situation after the merger. According to the report, Nam Gia Nghia ward currently has a natural area of ​​80.6 km², a population of 5,832 households with 22,353 people, comprising 21 ethnic groups. The people's livelihoods mainly depend on agricultural production, trade, services, and unskilled labor.

In 2025, the socio-economic situation of the ward continued to maintain positive growth momentum, with 14 out of 14 key indicators achieving and exceeding the plan. The GRDP growth rate reached 7.55%; per capita income reached 81.5 million VND/year. Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at nearly 490 billion VND, and budget management and administration were carried out strictly and effectively.

The ward's economic structure has shifted in a positive direction. Social welfare is ensured. The poverty rate has decreased to 0.19%. The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has been completed on schedule.

Cultural and social fields, education, healthcare, administrative reform, and digital transformation continue to receive attention. The Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) is beginning to show effectiveness. National defense and security are maintained, and social order and safety remain stable.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tieu Hong Phuc requested Nam Gia Nghia ward to focus on overcoming limitations and difficulties after the merger; continue to consolidate the organizational structure, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the two-level local government; and pay attention to administrative reform, digital transformation, and improving the quality of service to the people.

Comrade Tieu Hong Phuc also requested the ward to promote the spirit of solidarity, stay close to the grassroots, have a firm grasp of the people's situation, ensure national defense and security, maintain political stability and social order; and at the same time, actively and thoroughly prepare the conditions to successfully organize the upcoming elections of National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels in accordance with regulations.
