Attending the event were Central Committee members: Chairman of the Committee on Delegate Affairs, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department Nguyen Huu Dong; Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha; and members of the Emulation and Commendation Council of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
At the meeting, the Council heard the announcement of Resolution No. 1886/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the restructuring of the Emulation and Commendation Council. Simultaneously, it focused on considering proposals for awarding commendations to collectives and individuals nominated for awards in the "For the Poor - Leaving No One Behind" emulation movement for the period 2021-2025; and summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee of the 12th Party Congress.
After hearing the presentation by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Delegate Affairs Nguyen Dai Thang on the proposal to commend a number of collectives and individuals, the members of the Emulation and Commendation Council gave specific opinions on the cases.
The opinions generally agreed with the proposal to commend organizations and individuals who meet the conditions and criteria for emulation and commendation; some suggestions were also made to ensure that the commendation proposals are implemented in accordance with regulations and policies, and are consistent with practical realities…
In her concluding remarks, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh highly appreciated the opinions expressed by the members of the Council at the meeting. She also requested the Committee on Representative Affairs, as the Standing Committee of the Emulation and Commendation Council, to incorporate the opinions from the discussion, study the experiences of relevant agencies, and continue reviewing cases that meet the criteria and deserve commendation, in order to propose them to the competent authorities for consideration and decision…
