Young Vietnamese entrepreneurs must be the ones to inspire, support, and lead start-ups.
Speaking at the Award Ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien acknowledged and praised the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association for maintaining and continuously improving the prestige and quality of the Red Star Award over the past 26 years, a persistent journey that has honored hundreds of outstanding young businesses, encouraged and spread the spirit of dynamism, creativity, and the desire to contribute of the country's youth to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
With trust and expectations in youth, the Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly sent a message to young Vietnamese entrepreneurs, especially young entrepreneurs receiving awards.
That is, "the mission of your generation is to be a pioneer, to be the vanguard in making breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, creativity and national digital transformation. Vietnam's youth and intelligence are not only in application, but must also master and create core technologies, take the lead in digital transformation, green transformation, conquer new heights of technology and the global market, and contribute worthily to the country's strategic autonomy."
The Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly called on the business community in general and young businesses in particular to join hands to build a Vietnamese business culture that is patriotic, honest, transparent, law-abiding, creative, innovative, professional, cooperative, sharing and socially responsible.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly stated: "Each entrepreneur and enterprise should invest in building and strengthening their brand and products to create their own identity. In the new era, the brand of an enterprise does not only lie in the value of assets, but more importantly, it lies in the reputation and personality of the head of the enterprise. That is the responsibility to the employees, the obligation to the community, the transparency in business, the awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development. That is the most sustainable "passport" to reach out to the ocean".
The Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the 11 Red Star entrepreneurs and 100 outstanding young entrepreneurs today must be the core of solidarity, spreading and leading, because this award is not only a personal honor, but also a mandate, a task that society trusts and assigns.
“You must be the ones to inspire, support, and lead smaller businesses and start-ups. Let’s strongly promote the role of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, strengthen connections, create strong ecosystems, and together create the combined strength of the Vietnamese young entrepreneur community,” the National Assembly’s Standing Vice President believes and hopes.
A nation that wants to “rise up” must have entrepreneurs of great stature. Emphasizing this, the Standing Vice President of the National Assembly deeply believes that, with intelligence, courage, dynamism and a burning desire to contribute, the generation of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in general, and young Sao Do entrepreneurs in particular, will progress quickly, strongly and steadily, worthy successors to the career of previous generations of fathers and brothers, making even greater contributions to the cause of building a rich, prosperous, civilized, happy Vietnam, steadily moving towards socialism.
Creating a generation with distinctive DNA, pioneering, responsible, serving
In his opening speech, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Dang Hong Anh stated, “The presence of senior leaders today is the most vivid proof of the great recognition of the Party and State for the past 13 award periods.”
Looking back on the 32-year journey of formation and development of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association affirmed that the history of the Association and the history of the Red Star Award always go hand in hand, blend together and motivate each other to develop. From a young business club with 15 initial members, under the leadership of the Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has grown steadily to become a leading national social and professional organization.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association said that the association's network has covered 34/34 provinces and cities with more than 21,000 members and the Red Star Award is the rallying flag, the source of inspiration, the place to discover and nurture the most core nuclei of the association.
As a person who was honored to receive the Red Star Award in 2008, the Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association said that he deeply understands the value of this title. It is not only a source of pride, but also a driving force for individuals and generations of Red Star to return to contribute, creating a generation with a typical DNA of pioneering, responsible, and serving. It is this core force that has led member businesses to generate annual revenue of over 40 billion USD, contributing more than 10% of the country's GDP and creating jobs for more than 5 million workers.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association affirmed that the Red Star faces of 2025 are not only excellent managers, they are also pioneers on the economic front, realizing a series of strategic resolutions of the Party and State that have just been issued. That is the spirit of innovation from Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on science and technology and digital transformation. That is the mindset of reaching out to the ocean of Resolution 59-NQ/TW on international integration; the rule of law according to Resolution 66-NQ/TW and especially the affirmation of the important driving role of the private economy according to Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW.
“The entrepreneurs honored today are role models for the young generation of entrepreneurs in the new era, with intelligence, aspiration and most importantly, a heart to serve,” said the Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
At the Award Ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien and Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung presented the Top 10 Red Star Entrepreneurs of 2025 and an Honorary Red Star Award of 2025.
Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang and Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyen Anh Tuan presented the Top 30 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs of 2025.
