Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Dieu attended the 65th anniversary of Sa Giang Company's establishment.

(DTO) On the afternoon of December 8, Sa Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to celebrate its 65th anniversary (1960 - 2025) with the theme "Proud of the quintessence of Vietnamese soul". The ceremony was attended and delivered speeches by Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Dieu; leaders of provincial departments, branches, partners and staff of the company.

The predecessor of Sa Giang is Sa Giang Shrimp Cracker Factory, established in 1960 in Sa Dec. After more than 6 decades of formation and development, especially after converting the business model into a Joint Stock Company in 2004, Sa Giang has made great strides.

From a small factory, up to now, the company has continuously grown, expanded its scale and diversified its product portfolio. Besides the main product of traditional shrimp crackers, Sa Giang has developed many other processed products such as: seafood crackers, rice paper, pho, hu tieu and instant products. These products with traditional local flavors meet the diverse tastes of consumers, affirming their quality in domestic and foreign markets. In particular, Sa Giang's products have conquered and are present in more than 30 countries around the world .

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Dieu awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to the collective of Sa Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company.

Not only focusing on business development, Sa Giang is also a typical enterprise in social security work. The company creates stable jobs for more than 850 local workers and contributes more than 4 billion VND to community activities in Dong Thap province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Dieu acknowledged and praised the impressive achievements that Sa Giang has achieved. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee especially emphasized the company's role in preserving the culinary culture and traditional local flavors, thereby building a solid reputation and brand.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his hope that Sa Giang would continue to maintain its brand, promote research and expand new products. At the same time, the company needs to actively apply science and technology, innovate technology and improve smart management capacity. At the same time, he hopes that Sa Giang will continue to bring Vietnamese culture, soul, and local identity into each product, while paying more attention to social security and workers' lives, aiming for sustainable development in the future.
