Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Sinh inspects planning and resolves obstacles for land development projects.

On the afternoon of January 23rd, a delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, along with representatives from several relevant departments and agencies, conducted a field inspection, reviewed the planning, and assessed the progress of key land development projects in Yen Bai and Au Lau wards and Yen Binh commune.

The delegation inspected the current situation and listened to detailed reports on the planning and progress of ongoing projects. These projects play a key role in improving the urban landscape and expanding the socio -economic development space of the area.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - listened to reports from departments and agencies on the progress of project implementation.

Specifically, the list of projects under review includes: the housing construction and business investment project (urban renovation) on land adjacent to Au Co Street - expanding area No. 1 towards Tran Phu Street; the new urban area construction project in the Bao Luong Bridge area; and the urban renovation project to develop the residential area of ​​Group 12, Yen Ninh Ward (formerly Yen Bai City).

In addition, the delegation also focused on evaluating new development areas such as: Gioi Phien New Urban Area; the project to build a new rural residential area in the area of ​​the former Gioi Phien commune headquarters; Bao Hung Urban Area; the Au Lau Ward New Urban Area project (adjacent to IC 12); and the two Thinh Hung 1 and Thinh Hung 2 ecological urban area projects.

Reporting from the site, representatives from various departments and agencies pointed out numerous challenges facing the projects, primarily revolving around land clearance, planning adjustment procedures, and a lack of seamless coordination between units. In particular, the requirement to complete all legal procedures and bidding processes before commencement was emphasized as a prerequisite to avoid future legal risks.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - requested that departments, agencies, and localities review and summarize the difficulties and obstacles of the projects.

Concluding the inspection, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the efforts of the units in the past period, while also pointing out shortcomings that need to be addressed immediately. He requested the Department of Finance, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and other relevant units to urgently review and compile all the actual difficulties and obstacles that the projects are facing. Based on that, the departments and agencies must advise and propose feasible solutions to the Provincial People's Committee. In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will organize a specialized meeting to definitively resolve these outstanding issues.

Regarding long-term orientation, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Sinh emphasized the need for connectivity and synchronization in the project planning process. This is considered a key factor in increasing the value of land resources, thereby enhancing the ability to attract strategic investors to the area and contributing to sustainable local economic development.
