Binh Tay Ward has just officially launched the Cho Lon night street project, creating a new highlight for the Binh Tay Market area, one of the largest ancient markets in Ho Chi Minh City with nearly 100 years of age. This move aims to enhance the image of the market, while creating a space for community activities and attracting tourists.

Binh Tay Market, located in Binh Tay Ward, is a construction associated with the history of formation and development of Cho Lon land. With the opening of the night street, this area promises to become an attractive destination, combining cultural - historical values with commercial and entertainment activities.

On the evening of December 4, Cho Lon night street witnessed a large number of people and tourists coming to visit and shop.

Stalls sell a variety of dishes and drinks prepared on the spot, along with packaged foods from reputable businesses.

Many beautiful folk dishes, along with specialties from three regions, have gathered at the booths, bringing a rich culinary experience to diners.

This is also an opportunity for chefs, culinary experts and business people to meet, exchange experiences, and share knowledge about processing techniques, nutrition and food origin with consumers.

Cho Lon Night Street is not only a shopping place but also a space to promote culture, tourism and typical cuisine of the regions, attracting the attention of the public at home and abroad.

Cho Lon Night Street has a total area of 1,510m2, arranged with stalls including food trucks and handcarts, divided into functional areas. The dining area is equipped with tables and chairs for the convenience of residents and tourists. The night street operates from 6pm to 12am every day.

Ms. Hoa (Binh Tan Ward) expressed her joy: "I am very happy that the locality has more places to have fun and eat at night like this. As soon as I heard about the night street's operation, I brought my whole family there to eat and visit. The food here is also very diverse and the prices are reasonable."

Along with the opening of the night street, the first Southern Cuisine and Traditional Cake Week 2025 was also opened on the evening of December 4 with a scale of 40 booths, including 30 culinary booths and 10 traditional cake booths.

These activities are within the local direction to exploit the cultural and historical values of Binh Tay market, create more unique tourism products and promote Cho Lon night market area as a key center of cultural activities, trade, services, entertainment and tourism of the City.

The operation of the night street at the end of the year, associated with festival activities, is expected to contribute to the development of tourism in Binh Tay ward, enriching and diversifying tourism products in the Cho Lon area.
