According to information from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, this is the world's first comprehensive set of guidelines dedicated to the field of assisted reproduction. The participation of Associate Professor Vuong Thi Ngoc Lan in the editorial team not only affirms the professional capacity and position of IVF Vietnam but also marks an important step forward, contributing to raising the voice of Vietnamese medicine on the international medical map.
Associate Professor Vuong Thi Ngoc Lan was the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City before becoming Vice Rector. She is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Journal, a member of the Editorial Board of the Fertility and Reproduction Journal (official journal of ASPIRE - Asia- Pacific Society of Reproductive Medicine), and a member of the team compiling the guidelines for approaching infertile couples of the World Health Organization.

Associate Professor Vuong Thi Ngoc Lan was born in 1971, graduated from Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, and obtained a master's degree in medicine specializing in clinical embryology from the National University of Singapore. She successfully defended her doctoral thesis in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, and was appointed Associate Professor in 2019. In 2020, Associate Professor Vuong Thi Ngoc Lan was one of three scientists to receive the Ta Quang Buu Award.
In 2021, she was voted by Asian Scientist magazine (Singapore) into the list of 100 Asian scientists with outstanding research achievements.
She is the daughter of Professor, Doctor, Doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong, former Director of Tu Du Hospital.
