Hanoi's streets are bustling with activity as people prepare for the Lunar New Year.

On many streets in Hanoi such as Nguyen Chi Thanh, Kim Ma, Hoang Dieu, Phan Dinh Phung, along with the main roads of Ngoc Lam, Nguyen Van Cu, Ngo Gia Tu, Hoi Xa and the Gia Lam flower market area, the atmosphere of the Lunar New Year is clearly evident through the system of banners, slogans, and billboards wishing a happy new year, which are uniformly and prominently decorated.

Along central streets like Nguyen Chi Thanh and Kim Ma, bright red banners with New Year greetings and messages celebrating the Party and Spring are neatly hung on lampposts and median strips. The dominant red and yellow colors create a vibrant spring atmosphere, standing out against the sky in the final days of the year. On Hoang Dieu and Phan Dinh Phung streets, the system of banners, combining New Year symbols and spring greetings, attracts the attention of passersby.

On the other side of the Red River, the streets of Ngoc Lam, Nguyen Van Cu, Ngo Gia Tu, and Hoi Xa were also decorated simultaneously. National flags and Party flags, interspersed with banners and slogans, created a solemn yet vibrant atmosphere. Many people took the opportunity to capture images of the streets brightly colored in the days leading up to Tet.

At Gia Lam flower market, the spirit of spring has truly arrived, with branches of Nhat Tan peach blossoms displayed along the entrance and throughout the stalls. Each budding peach blossom, with its vibrant pink petals swaying gently in the breeze, creates a dazzling scene, signaling the approaching Tet (Lunar New Year). Many vendors are busy transporting and arranging peach trees and branches of various sizes to meet the needs of the people. The crowds of visitors and shoppers grow larger by the hour, each hoping to find a branch they like to bring the fragrance of spring home, preparing for a prosperous and joyful new year.

The early completion of visual propaganda and promotional decorations on the streets has contributed to creating a fresh new look for the capital city. Amidst the vibrant red of banners and slogans, the atmosphere of spring is drawing near in Hanoi, reflecting faith and hope for a peaceful and prosperous new year.
